The strict new rules for air travel after lockdown

A number of Europe’s airlines took to the skies again this week, after restrictions were lifted on cross-border travel.

Airlines had to cancel scheduled flights for 10 weeks because of the coronavirus crisis.

But strict new rules have been brought in, meaning air travel now is very different to how it was before the lockdown started.
